Senior Bookkeeper (Sage & QB Payroll)

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Supports many facets of accounting and related tasks including clerical tasks such as data entry, accounts payables, accounts receivables, invoicing, cash posting and basic bookkeeping.

  • Reconciles bank statements and credit card statements

  • Prepares monthly financial statements, including income statements and updating balance sheets

  • Processes payroll most clients have 1-3 employees

  • Prepares monthly sales tax reports

  • May assist with general admin support

  • Handles accounting related projects

  • Fluency in English writing and speaking are required.

Key Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of Bookkeeping experience

  • Intermediate QuickBooks (QBO + Desktop)

  • Experience with QB Payroll required

  • Experience with Sage is a plus as the largest client has 5 sets of books in Sage

  • Intermediate Excel and Google Sheets

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Reliable

Shift / Hours:

Monday Friday in one single shift, 2:00 AM CST 11:00 AM CST and 1:00 AM CST 10:00 AM CST outside of DST. Note this is +13 or +14 Philippine time, which will be 3:00 PM PHT 12:00 AM in PHT.
